On the 15th April, Luke turned one year old! For his birthday celebrations, we enjoyed chocolate cake, plenty of playing on his birthday-present-slide, making a mess with party food, playing with friends, opening presents from far-away family, and general birthday-related frivolities. Now that Luke is one, he has developed a more mature personality, and has a particular interest in philosophy: Just yesterday he pondered, "Hey mum and dad - what do you think Hegel means by insisting that 'being' is actually 'nothing' and 'nothing' is actually 'being'?" We scolded him for being precocious, but all is now forgiven. Feel free to wish Luke a happy birthday in the comments!!!
